Description
- Identify and research potential trusts and foundations to secure funding opportunities.
- Prepare compelling funding proposals tailored to specific requirements of trusts and foundations.
- Manage existing relationships with trust and foundation partners to ensure continued support.
- Develop a pipeline of prospects to achieve income targets for the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather programme information and success stories for funding applications.
- Maintain accurate records of funding applications, deadlines, and outcomes.
- Regularly report on progress and income generation to senior management.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in trust and foundation fundraising.
Profile
A successful Fundraiser (Trusts and Foundations) should have:
- Proven experience in trust and foundation fundraising within the Not For Profit sector.
- Strong written communication skills for creating persuasive funding proposals.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with fundraising databases and record-keeping systems.
