Description

• Identify and research potential trusts and foundations to secure funding opportunities.
• Prepare compelling funding proposals tailored to specific requirements of trusts and foundations.
• Manage existing relationships with trust and foundation partners to ensure continued support.
• Develop a pipeline of prospects to achieve income targets for the organisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather programme information and success stories for funding applications.
• Maintain accurate records of funding applications, deadlines, and outcomes.
• Regularly report on progress and income generation to senior management.
• Stay informed about trends and best practices in trust and foundation fundraising.

Profile

A successful Fundraiser (Trusts and Foundations) should have:

• Proven experience in trust and foundation fundraising within the Not For Profit sector.
• Strong written communication skills for creating persuasive funding proposals.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with fundraising databases and record-keeping systems.
