There may be potential to work from home 2 days per week after the initial onsite period.LocationChurchill Court2 Westmoreland RoadBromleyBR1 1ASPay£23.95 per hour PAYEJob OverviewBromley Council is seeking an experienced Funding and Operations Officer to support the assessment and processing of Discretionary Housing Payments.The successful candidate must have direct experience assessing DHP applications and should be confident reviewing financial circumstances, housing costs and supporting information to make accurate and defensible decisions.Experience using the Academy system to process Housing Benefit or Discretionary Housing Payments is strongly required for this role.Important - Please Read CarefullyThis role requires direct experience assessing Discretionary Housing Payments.You must also have experience using Academy for Housing Benefit or DHP processing.Candidates without DHP assessment experience and Academy system knowledge are unlikely to be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess applications for Discretionary Housing PaymentsProcess Housing Benefit and DHP cases using the Academy systemReview financial hardship, housing costs and supporting evidenceMaintain accurate records and case documentationProvide clear advice and ..... full job details .....
