The Sectors Portfolio Management (PM) team aims to be the ‘center of excellence’ for the in-life management of ING’s lending exposures across multiple sectors. It is a front office team that manages all activities from initial funding to final repayment of a lending transaction.The Sectors PM team monitors the performance of sector-driven lending transactions in the UK and responds to client requests including facility extensions, amendments, waivers, and other ad hoc requests. The role involves contact with clients, other banks, legal advisors, and cooperation with internal departments such as Sector Origination, Transaction Management, Credit Risk Management, Legal, and Deal Execution.We are looking to hire a Portfolio Management Associate or VP specializing in Funds Finance, with exposure and responsibilities across other sectors in ING London.Candidate Profile
Qualifications/Education:Degree-level educationExperience/Knowledge:Minimum 3 years of Funds Finance experienceStrong financial and credit analysis skillsProficient in financial modelingSkilled in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointMain Duties and Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of Funds Finance transactions, including capital call and NAV finance, working with senior colleagues and stakeholders. Responsibilities include file analysis, covenant monitoring, risk assessment, and review of financial information. For credit modifications, work alongside senior staff to meet internal and client deadlines, review legal documents, and ensure compliance and risk mitigation.Additional responsibilities include portfolio initiatives like external ratings and risk management tools, preparing reports for credit risk management, auditors, and regulators, maintaining relationships with internal teams, managing new transactions, and updating relevant databases. Participation in borrower discussions is also expected.Personal Competencies
