SF Recruitment are exclusively partnered with an exciting Venture Capital firm that is looking to hire a Fund Controller / Senior Financial Controller to join their growing business.This role is pivotal in supporting the partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient financial operations, regulatory compliance, and delivering insights that support our growth and investment strategy.Responsibilities
Lead fund accounting, audits, and investor reporting across multiple VC structuresManage NAVs, capital calls, distributions, and financial statements under IFRS/US GAAPOversee fund administrators, auditors, and finance infrastructure developmentProvide financial insights to the CFO and investment team to support strategyMonitor fund performance, cash flows, valuations, and regulatory complianceProfile required / Qualifications
ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional certification essentialMinimum 5+ years of experience in financial control, with at least 3 years in fund accountingStrong understanding of VC fund structures, waterfall models, and investor allocationsExperience with fund administration platforms (e.g., Carta, eFront, Investran)Comfortable working in a flexible, remote-first environment with periodic travel to LondonMust be highly self-motivated and proactive by natureIf you''re interested in this Fund Controller role then please apply, or for more questions email me directly at dbrown@sfrecuitment.comSeniority level
