Fund Accountant

Pure is currently recruiting a Fund Accountant on behalf of a global venture capital firm, this role is a great opportunity to join an established team and to be mentored directly by the Senior Fund Accountant. This is a full-time role which offers hybrid working, this is 3 days in the Cambridge office and 2 from home.-

This role will suit a newly qualified Accountant, potentially looking to make your first move out of practice. The main responsibilities of this role are

- Preparing accurate and timely quarterly fund management accounts and audited statutory accounts
- Preparing and distributing relevant financial reporting to investors
- Preparing and issuing draw down and distribution notices to fund investors
- Assisting with the production of annual UK & US TAX returns
- Liaising with auditors, bankers and lawyers at fund level
- Support the Head of Finance and Senior Fund Accountant on sales of quoted stock.-

This role would suit somebody looking to gain exposure within the venture capital industry and to work for an organisation that holds a large Cambridge based portfolio.-

You must be ACA or ACCA qualified, have worked ideally in audit and have strong experience in financial systems and data analysis.-
