These settings provide supportive and structured learning environments focused on rebuilding engagement, developing confidence, and helping learners make positive academic and personal progress.We are looking to recruit a Functional Skills Tutor for flexible day-to-day work, with long-term opportunities available for the right Functional Skills Tutor. The successful Functional Skills Tutor will deliver targeted Maths and English sessions, adapt learning to meet individual needs, and support students who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education. This Functional Skills Tutor role requires someone who can build positive relationships while maintaining clear expectations and encouraging learners to re-engage with education.The successful Functional Skills Tutor will have:• Relevant teaching, tutoring, or Functional Skills qualifications• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and English• Experience working with young people within education or Alternative Provision• Strong behaviour management and communication skills• The ability to adapt sessions to meet individual learning needs• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting young peopleIn return for the above you can expect to receive:• A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help ..... full job details .....
