Functional Skills Tutor

The OpportunityProspero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to provide support to students who are not currently accessing mainstream education.Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, it would beneficial if applicants have a background and strong understanding of SEN.Position Details:Location - Various locations across the Sefton areaPosition - 1:1 TutorType of work - ContractStart date - ASAPDuration / Likely Duration - dependent on each studentEnd date - OngoingContract type - TemporaryFull time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availabilityHourly rate - Minimum of 25.00Hours - Flexible working hours between 8:30am to 4pmExperience, Training and Qualifications:QTS or equivalentUp to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)UK classroom teaching experienceBe creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxSEN experience To be eligible for this role, you must:Hold the right to work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child-related references.OtherIf you would like to be considered for this ..... full job details .....
