Supply Desk are working with one of our fantastic partner SEND schools in Rochester, seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to deliver Functional Skills Maths and English (Entry Level 1 andamp; 2) on a full-time basis starting September 2025 or earlier.

This is a highly rewarding role supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other complex needs, helping them build vital life skills and confidence in a nurturing and structured environment.

About the Role:

• Teach Functional Skills Maths and English (Entry Level 1 andamp; 2) to students with a range of SEND needs, primarily ASD.
• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning styles.
• Work closely with support staff and SEND professionals to monitor and adapt strategies for student progress.
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that supports emotional regulation and social development.

Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English, particularly at Entry Levels 1 andamp; 2.
• Be confident and passionate about supporting students with ASD and SEND in both group and 1:1 settings.
• Be either a qualified teacher or an unqualified educator with relevant experience.
• Show resilience, flexibility, and reliability in adapting to studentsandrsquo; varying needs.
• Demonstrate a calm, proactive, and supportive approach to behaviour management and emotional support.
• Be committed to student progress, development, and inclusion.
