Job Role: Functional Skills Maths Tutor Location: HMP Whitemoor Salary: From £30,000 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Role Overview: We are recruiting a passionate and engaging Functional Skills Maths Tutor to deliver high-quality education within a custodial environment at HMP Whitemoor. As a Functional Skills Maths Tutor, you will support learners to develop essential numeracy skills through the delivery of City and Guilds Functional Skills Maths qualifications from Entry Level 1 to Level 2. Working with small groups of learners, you will help individuals build confidence, achieve recognised qualifications and develop the skills needed to progress into employment, further learning and successful rehabilitation. This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who is enthusiastic about Mathematics and believes in the power of education to transform lives. Your ability to make Maths engaging, accessible and relevant will play a key role in helping learners achieve their full potential.
