This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by supporting learners to develop essential numeracy skills that will help them transition successfully back into education, training, or employment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level to Level 2) lessonsPlan and adapt schemes of work to meet individual learner needsCreate a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environmentSupport learners to achieve recognised qualificationsMonitor progress and provide constructive feedbackManage classroom behaviour effectively within a secure environmentWork collaboratively with prison staff and education colleaguesMaintain accurate records in line with compliance requirements What we need from you:Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths (essential)A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent)Passion for supporting young people with challenging backgroundsStrong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to engage and motivate disengaged ..... full job details .....
