Functional Skills Maths Tutor

The Job: On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor - Mathematics. In this role you will deliver Mathematics to apprentices from Entry Level 3 to Level 2, supporting them to achieve functional skills qualifications alongside their vocational learning. You will adapt teaching approaches, use blended delivery methods, and maintain accurate records to support high-quality outcomes. The role also involves contributing to the development of workplace-relevant maths content and working collaboratively within a small team. Responsibilities will include Deliver high-quality Functional Skills Mathematics to apprentices from Entry Level 3 to Level 2. Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs, including SEND and additional learning requirements. Apply inclusive teaching strategies in line with Ofsted''s Education Inspection Framework. Use blended delivery methods, including virtual classrooms and digital resources. Monitor learner progress, set clear targets, and support timely achievement. Maintain accurate and compliant records for quality assurance and performance measures. Contribute to the development of workplace-relevant maths content and scenarios. Collaborate with a small team while managing your own workload and administration.
