The role focuses on improving numeracy, developing practical mathematical skills and helping learners work towards appropriate qualifications. The Role: Deliver 1:1 Functional Skills Maths sessions tailored to learner needs. Support Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 learners, where appropriate. Teach number, calculations, measurement and practical problem-solving. Identify gaps in understanding and establish achievable learning targets. Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning needs. Record progress and provide feedback on outcomes. Experience, Training and Qualifications: QTS, PGCE or a relevant teaching or tutoring qualification is desirable. Strong mathematical knowledge and numeracy skills. Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths or supporting numeracy development. Experience working with young people who need additional educational support is advantageous. A flexible... Permanent
