Functional Skills Maths LecturerLocation: KidderminsterContract: Full-Time, TemporaryDuration: Initially 12 WeeksStart Date: End of August 2026Salary: Up to £35 per hour (inclusive of statutory holiday pay)The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of a Further Education College in Kidderminster for a Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to join their team on a full-time basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maths Lecturer to support learners across a range of study programmes, delivering high-quality Functional Skills Maths provision and helping students develop the essential skills required for further study, employment and everyday life.The role is initially for a 12-week period, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and effective Functional Skills Maths lessons to learners at varying levels.Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality learning activities that support student achievement.Assess, monitor and record learner progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.Support learners to develop confidence and competence in mathematics.Prepare students for Functional Skills examinations and assessments.Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development activities.Participate in team meetings and departmental activities as required.Essential RequirementsA relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related subject.Previous experience teaching Functional Skills ..... full job details .....
