The Role: Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Functional Skills English Tutor to join their team. Their centre supports young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including learners with complex needs such as: Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Dyslexia, Global developmental delay, Severe learning difficulties and Social communication difficulties. This is not a mainstream teaching role. Learners may work at a slower pace and require additional support with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation. As the Functional Skills English Tutor you will deliver Functional Skills English (Entry Level 1 3 and Level 1 2) in small groups of up to 12 learners, creating engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
