We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Humber working as an Functional Skills Curriculum Manager. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis, working 37 hours per week.

Site Information

HMP Humber Prison is a Category C men''s prison located in Everthorpe, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Designed to house inmates from various backgrounds, Humber Prison provides a structured environment aimed at rehabilitation and re-integration into society. The teams aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe at all times. The prison''s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
• Degree or equivalent (including equivalent life / career experience)
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
• Implementing continuous quality assurance procedures
• Successful partnership working
• Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
