The role requires producing comprehensive, evidence-based reports for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). The assessor is not responsible for benefit entitlement decisions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments with claimants, Perform thorough evaluations to determine how a claimant''s disability or health condition affects their work capabilities. Assess individuals with a range of physical, mental health, cognitive, and sensory impairments. Produce impartial, accurate, and high-quality written reports using a designated IT system.
