What is on offer as a WCA Functional Assessor? - Excellent starting salary at £42,000pa - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours - Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available) - Greenock based when working on-site - Annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 10 more days + pension - Hybrid/home working available - NMC or HCPC fees paid for and CPD revalidation support provided £4,000 performance related salary uplift to £46,000pa after 12 months following training and DWP Functional Assessor approval. What does the WCA Functional Assessor role involve? The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day who are claiming for WCA (Work Capability Assessment). A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person''s disability or health condition affects their ability to perform work-related activity. You ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
