About the RoleAs a Functional Assessor, you''ll use your clinical expertise to assess how health conditions impact people''s daily lives and ability to work. It''s a role that blends medical knowledge with meaningful human connection - giving you the chance to support individuals while contributing to a fair and compassionate benefits system.

You''ll carry out assessments both face-to-face and via video or phone, taking detailed medical histories and conducting physical examinations. Your findings will help inform accurate, high-quality reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). You''ll be trusted to work independently, but you''ll also be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team that values collaboration and continuous learning.

Your Profile

A registered Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic with at least 12 months'' post-registration UK experience

Confident in clinical decision-making, with a strong understanding of functional assessment

Skilled communicator, able to build trust and ask the right questions

Digitally capable, with experience using clinical software and systems

Self-motivated and organised, with a focus on quality and integrity

Team-oriented, ready to support colleagues and contribute to a positive working culture

Salary and HoursSalary: Ranging from £37,500 - £46,215 depending on the location and contract.
