Functional Assessor - Guildford - Hybrid role

Functional Assessor Nurses Occupational Therapists Physiotherapists Paramedics PharmacistsHybrid Role Full-time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Part time available - 3/4 days Location: Guildford Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 - (+ 1k at 6/12 months - performance based)What you need: At least 1 year of recent post-registration experience in a relevant adult setting At least 1 year of active NMC, HCPC or GPHC registration Strong communication and assessment skills Excellent report-writing and typing skills Good IT skills The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload PIP assessments - 3 a day WCA assesseents -5/6 a day What will you be doing? As a Functional Assessor, you will: Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments with claimants Explore how health conditions affect everyday activities and work Review medical evidence and health questionnaires Ask detailed questions about functional ability Use your critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills Produce clear, accurate and objective reports for the DWP Make recommendations based on your assessment findings Benefits: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm No nights or weekends Hybrid working Full-time opportunities following training £1,000 salary increases at 6/12 months (depending on role and performance based) Up to 10% bonus based on quality and performance 5% one of approval bonus 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Option to purchase up to 5 additional days Up to 6% contributory pension Excellent career progression ..... full job details .....
