ADULT FUNCTIONAL ASSESSOR 
CANTERBURY – HYBRID WORKING

Salary: £39,500 & 10% with Annual Salary Reviews
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours (Part-Time Available)
Location: Canterbury – Hybrid Working (Homebased & Site-Based)

Are you a Registered Nurse (Adult) – RMN, RN, RNLD, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic with at least one year of post-registration experience in adult healthcare?
Looking for a role with no weekends, bank holidays, or night shifts and a better work-life balance?

This hybrid role combines home-based working with site-based assessments in Canterbury and is ideal for local clinicians.

Hybrid Working Includes:

• 50% Home-Based – Telephone/video assessments
• 50% Site-Based in Canterbury – In-person assessments
• Strictly for professionals based in or near Canterbury

Your Role:
As a WCA Disability Assessor, you’ll assess how health conditions impact a claimant’s ability to work and produce clear, evidence-based medical reports for the DWP.

Flexi-Booking (After 6 Months):

• Control your own diary
• Book assessments between 8am and 6pm
• Work anytime between 8am–8pm, as long as daily targets are met

Requirements:

• HCPC/NMC registration with minimum 1 year post-registration experience
• Adult Pharmacists must have 1+ year of patient-facing experience with assessment/triage
• Suitable for:
  
  • Nurses: RGN, RN, RNLD, RMN
  • AHPs: Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics
• Strong communication, clinical judgment & IT skills
