Are you an experienced CNC Milling or CNC Turning Machinist with a passion for precision engineering? We are currently seeking a highly skilled individual to join my client''s dynamic team. A leading Precision Engineering company based in the Manchester area. If you possess programming expertise in Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling / turning machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Program, edit, and optimize machine controls using Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens systems.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify that parts meet precise tolerances and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop efficient machining strategies and improve production processes.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Milling or CNC Turning Machinist, ideally in a precision engineering environment.
• Proficiency in programming and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong working knowledge of Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Siemens programming systems
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shifts:

• The ideal candidate would be willing to work and of a 3-shift system, including earlies, afternoons, and night shifts.
• Alternatively, candidates interested in working day and night shifts on a rotating basis are encouraged to apply.

Salary:

• The salary offering is a highly competitive range of -15.00 - -18.00 per hour, negotiable with experience and expertise (to include 33% shift allowance for a night''s role).
