You’ll be working with clients and cross-functional teams to design, test, build and support secure, scalable web applications. This role requires full stack development expertise, experience of deploying and supporting web applications in production, and a proactive and positive approach towards problem solving.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning, building and supporting full stack web applications using modern languages such as React and JavaWriting and maintaining automated build pipelines using tools such as Drone and GitHub ActionsBuilding and supporting AWS Serverless and Containerised infrastructureEnsuring non-functional requirements are met in design and implementation relating to Security, Performance, Scalability and High AvailabilitySupporting and debugging live applications, and communicating issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders – including peers, managers, clients and usersEngaging with other teams to resolve external dependenciesImplementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to aid application supportRequired Skills and ExperienceSupporting production applications, ideally at scaleModern software development tools and processes such as Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated testingDeveloping, documenting and maintaining REST APIsAWS services such as IAM, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudFrontDatabase technologies, schema design and SQLSystem design for modern web applicationsEligible for security clearanceNice to HaveExpertise in Spring BootExpertise in ReactExperience with writing Infrastructure as Code using TerraformScripting with Bash and Python, and familiarity with LinuxPython and Data Engineering experienceKnowledge of Agile development methodologies such as Scrum, XP and KanbanWe offer youThe opportunity to work in a diverse and international environment with an informal culture, with a flat hierarchy, in which we cooperate across business areas and levels.
