Full Time Support Worker - Harborne, BirminghamHours: Shifts - AM 07:30 - 14:30 PM 14:30 - 21:30 - 35 hours a weekLocation: Harborne, Birmingham Start Date: ASAPYour new company Ongoing full time support workers are needed across the Birmingham Area to work in and across adult care settings, providing ongoing support to the residents at the homes. The working hours are flexible to work around you for either mornings or afternoons across the week subject to availability. This is a full time role of 30 - 35 hours per week. Your new roleYour main role as a support worker will be ensuring the safety and comfort of service users. You will predominantly be working with elderly service users with various needs as a residential care home, so as well as carrying out tasks to ensure the smooth running of the home, you should also encourage service users to have confidence and independence and encourage engagement in activities. The role will include personal care, and hygiene upkeep dependant on each service users'' needs. You will be working with people from a variety of backgrounds, with varying levels of needs. With this, behaviour can be challenging, and you will need to be adaptable.
