This full-time role will involve providing dedicated support to a child within the nursery setting, helping them stay safe, develop their confidence and access everyday learning activities.The child is currently unsteady on his feet, so the successful candidate must be attentive, proactive and confident in supporting a young child''s mobility, safety and independence throughout the school day.Previous nursery experience is essential for this role.The RoleProvide dedicated 1:1 support to a child in the nursery classroom.Support the child''s safety and wellbeing, particularly when moving around the setting.Encourage participation in play-based learning and nursery activities.Promote the child''s confidence, development and independence.Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to meet the child''s individual needs.Follow safeguarding procedures and any agreed guidance relating to the child''s mobility and care.The Ideal CandidateEssential: Previous experience working in a nursery setting.A caring, patient and nurturing approach.Experience supporting young ..... full job details .....
