Full Stack Dot Net Software DeveloperOur client is an established leader in the travel industry. They are looking to recruit a full stack Dot Net Software Developer to work on a major transformation programme for an award-winning Luxury Travel Company. Projects will include designing and implementing web-based tools to automate operational tasks and improve pricing and management information, and site enhancements. The client works with several third-party suppliers, and the candidate will liaise with vendors to deliver solutions as required. Depending on expertise, there may be opportunities to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors.You Will Be Responsible For

Design and implementation of web-based tools to automate a variety of business processesImplementation of enhancements to the company website (built on Umbraco)Interfacing with business systems and data warehouse to implement the required functionalityAnalysing and identifying ways to automate processes alongside the business leadDesigning and validating the technical suitability of proposed solutions including database design and software approaches proposed by vendorsTaking on complex business change projects that involve multiple stakeholders and suppliersPotential for managing suppliers to ensure delivery within budget and on timeRisk and issue management to take a pro-active approachSkills And Experience

At least 3-5 years of commercial experience with specific knowledge of the retail travel industryTrack record of delivering projects involving in-house resources and/or third-party suppliersAbility to design and architect technical solutions to complex business problemsFull stack development experience (ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS, MS SQL Server)CMS experience, e.g. UmbracoContinuous Delivery skills, tools and techniques (e.g. Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Vagrant, Chef, Puppet, Selenium)Familiar with Azure cloud services and deploying appsExperience in implementing business process automationExperience with multiple REST APIs documented with OpenAPI/SwaggerPower BI, Power Query, DAX and MExperience with JSON, XML, SOAPExperience of structured testing and QA approaches (e.g. TDD/BDD)Collaborative team player who can work across departmentsAbility to understand and document business requirementsLocation and How to Apply
