Role/Job title: Full Stack Engineer

Work Location: London

Mode of working: Hybrid / 3 days a week in office + 2 days remote.

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our multinational technology clients’ high-performing engineering team building scalable, enterprise-grade web and mobile applications. You will play a key role in developing innovative solutions across both front-end and back-end technologies, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software that creates real business value.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle, from designing user interfaces to building robust APIs and scalable backend services.

Key Responsibilities
•    Develop and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications for web and mobile platforms.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver intuitive, high-performance software solutions.
•    Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
•    Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
•    Troubleshoot, debug, test, and optimize applications to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
•    Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
•    Work within agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Backend Development
•    Strong development experience using Java and/or Python.
•    Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
•    Strong understanding of MVC architecture, design patterns, and dependency injection.
•    Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.

Frontend Development
•    Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
•    Commercial experience building applications with React.js.
•    Experience with component-based architecture and state management using: 
o    React Hooks
o    Redux
o    Context API
o    NgRx
•    Experience developing responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces.

Security & Data
•    Experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions using: 
o    JWT
o    OAuth2
•    Strong SQL database skills with experience in: 
o    MySQL
o    PostgreSQL
o    Oracle
•    Ability to write complex queries, joins, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
