Full Stack Developer (Java/Node.js)

Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)Location: Newcastle (onsite once per month initially, moving to fully remote)Contract: 6 Month Overview We are seeking experienced Full Stack Developers with strong Java and Node.js expertise to join a high-profile digital transformation programme. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications within an agile delivery environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for developers who are comfortable working across the full technology stack and have experience building cloud-native applications in modern engineering environments. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Node.js. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps Engineers, and QA teams. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments. Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
