Full Load Operations – Export and Irish

Salary: up to -30k (dependant on experience)
Hours: Mon-Fri / 09:00-17:00

Grafton Recruitment are recruiting for an Export Full Loads Operator for one of their leading shipping and freight forwarding clients. Looking to expand their Stallingborough office, our client is looking for a proactive, dynamic individual to join their busy, growing team. Wanting to expand your Export/Import experience? This role could be for you.

Duties required from the Export Operator:

• Customer Service
• Export operations and administration for Export Full Loads from UK & IE
• Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines
• Completing Export Transit Documentation - using Descartes
• All aspects of full load export operations including on call rota
• Take bookings and create in our internal software
• Plan Irish Imports transiting via UK to IE - both Full loads and Groupage

You will need:

• 3 Years'' Experience is required - Exports / Imports / Groupage or FTL
• Customer focused with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
• A high level of organisation and attention to detail
• Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
• Excellent telephone manner, a willingness to learn, work as part of a team while also able to work on their own initiative
• IT literate
• Ability to work on call one week in 5 - taking calls on weekday evenings / and working Saturday morning until finish (the candidate then gets Monday afternoon off)
