Carbon60 is seeking a talented Fuel Systems Engineer RandT to join their client based in Filton. As a Fuel Systems Engineer RandT, you will play a crucial role in the development of a new item of equipment for the company''s next-generation aircraft.This is a contract role which will run until the end of July 2026. Key Responsibilities of the Fuel Systems Engineer RandT:- Evaluate equipment supplier technology proposals and select a suitable supplier for future collaboration.- Initiate and progress the process to set up collaboration with the selected supplier.- Author technical deliverable and analyses as part of the progression of the project from TRL3 to TRL4.- Prepare a review pack for a status review with key internal stakeholders, including a multi-year plan to reach TRL6.- Demonstrate strong communication skills to engage with system specialists, RandT programme team, and Airbus system suppliers.Qualifications and Skills Required:- Proven experience within the Aviation/Aerospace industry.- Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders within the business.- Desirable: Avionic Fuel Systems experience and Project management experience.This is an excellent opportunity for a Fuel Systems Engineer RandT to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.
