Fuel Systems Development Engineer | High Pressure Fuel Systems | Diesel Engines Location: Peterborough (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months (Likely Extension) Rate: £40 - £46 p/h Umbrella We are recruiting for a Fuel Systems Development Engineer to support the development of new diesel engine products. This position will take ownership of fuel system development activities on a major new product programme, supporting the delivery of robust, high-performance engineering solutions. Working within an experienced engineering team, you will contribute to the development, validation and optimisation of fuel systems used in advanced diesel engine applications.Responsibilities: Lead fuel system development activities for new product programmes. Develop, validate and optimise high-pressure fuel systems.Analyse engineering data to identify performance improvements and resolve technical issues.Support engine and fuel system testing activities.Work closely with suppliers and engineering stakeholders to deliver programme objectives.Prepare technical reports and development documentation.Support validation activities and performance optimisation programmes.Ensure project delivery against quality, timing and cost targets. Skills: Minimum 5 years'' relevant engineering experience.High-pressure fuel systems expertise.Fuel systems development experience.Diesel or reciprocating engine product development experience.
