Manufacturing Engineer - Vehicle Assembly On-site12 months fixed term contract We are looking for an experienced Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation . This opportunity has arisen due to continued programme development and the growth of the manufacturing function within the organisation.The business has a long heritage of delivering high-quality engineering solutions for defence and military applications, supporting customers globally with advanced manufacturing capabilities and specialist engineering expertise.This role will focus on the Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) manufacturing processes . You will play a key role in transferring production knowledge, supporting manufacturing operations on the shop floor, and driving continuous improvement during production ramp-up and beyond.This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in complex engineering environments who enjoys working closely with production teams and driving improvements across manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the transfer of Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) production knowledge into the UK manufacturing facilityAct as the manufacturing engineering focal point on the shop floor, supporting operators and production teamsLead and support structured problem solving and process improvement activitiesCoordinate cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, cost performance and production standardsSupport design for ..... full job details .....
