FRUIT and VEG PREP OPERATIVELocation: HU4, HullPay Rate: 13.52 per hourWorking Hours: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AMShift: Evening / Night ShiftWe are currently recruiting for a Fruit and Veg Prep Operative to join our team based in HU4, Hull.This is a hands-on role suited to someone with good knife skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food preparation environment.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreparing, peeling, trimming and cutting a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables.Using knives safely and confidently to meet preparation requirements.Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety.Checking the quality and freshness of produce.Following preparation instructions and production targets.Keeping workstations clean and tidy throughout the shift.Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily deadlines.RequirementsGood knife skills; previous fruit and vegetable preparation experience is preferred.Ability to work in a cold and wet working environment.Comfortable standing for extended periods and carrying out repetitive tasks.Reliable, punctual and hardworking.Good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices.Available to work from 4:00 PM until 1:00 AM.What We OfferCompetitive pay of 13.52 per hour.Consistent evening and night working hours.Opportunity to work within a busy food preparation operation.A supportive team environment.
