FRUIT & VEG PREP OPERATIVE

Location: HU4, Hull
Pay Rate: -13.52 per hour
Working Hours: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Shift: Evening / Night Shift

We are currently recruiting for a Fruit & Veg Prep Operative to join our team based in HU4, Hull.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with good knife skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food preparation environment.

• Preparing, peeling, trimming and cutting a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables.
• Using knives safely and confidently to meet preparation requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
• Checking the quality and freshness of produce.
• Following preparation instructions and production targets.
• Keeping workstations clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily deadlines.

• Good knife skills; previous fruit and vegetable preparation experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a cold and wet working environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and carrying out repetitive tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices.
• Available to work from 4:00 PM until 1:00 AM.
