You''ll work in a multidisciplinary agile team, using JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js to build the user-facing layer of services and the APIs behind it, in line with GDS standards and patterns. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain accessible, responsive user interfaces and Server Side applications using JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js. Develop with Express or Fastify, and with Nunjucks templates where the service uses them. Build and consume API microservices. Work with SQL or NoSQL databases, and use Redis for caching and session handling. Write automated tests with Jest or Mocha, and practise test-driven development.
