The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Front Office Manager with a passion for service excellence.

You will report to the Hotel Operations Manager, supporting/working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.A Front Office Manager will be responsible for:The day-to-day management of the Front Office TeamUndertaking and oversees Front Office administrative tasks in accordance with Company standards, procedures and legal obligationsManaging the reception of guests and visitors on a daily basis in person, by telephone or by emailEnsuring that the handover process between shifts in place and managed correctlyEnsuring that all daily and shift reports are printed out and filed in the correct placeEnsuring that guest information displays and literature are kept up to date at all timesEnsuring that the deli counter is adequately stocked and managed, and that items are correctly priced at all timesProviding cover on the reception desk as requiredInitiating and maintains effective communication between the Front Office department and other departments, and participates in daily briefings to ensure the operation runs smoothlyMonitoring the balance of guest accounts and ensures that reminders are sentTo be successful in the role of Duty Manager, we require:At least two years spent as Senior Receptionist or Shift Leader in a four-star hotel or serviced apartment residenceExcellent guest engagement skillsCash and Key handling experienceKnowledge of relevant legislation: health and safety, employmentAbility to act on own initiative and think ahead in to exceed expectationsKnowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS)
