General Assistant

you will…Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and hospitality according to established menus and recipes.Assist in the preparation and making of sandwiches and baguettes.Assist in the serving, cleaning and restocking of all food areas.Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.QualificationsIdeally have experience working within Education cateringHave good Health and Safety knowledgeFlexible with a can-do attitude, customer focusedFun and enthusiasticHave excellent organization skillsDemonstrate great attention to detailBe a team player and enjoy succeeding as a teamPossess great customer service skillsHave a flexible approach to workAdditional InformationTo provide our teams with the right skills to succeed in their jobs, we invest in their training and development.
