      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Contract | Front End Engineer My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Front End Engineer for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Bristol offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, JestJS and modern Front End testing practices, Accessibility standards (WCAG) and tooling (axe-core). Primary focus on experienced Frontend Software Engineers, with strong React expertise. Proven experience building accessible, testable, scalable user interfaces. Strong test-first mindset (TDD) and confidence writing automated tests. The ideal candidate will also, desirably have experience in Backend development with Java/Quarkus, Working with REST APIs and PostgreSQL, DevOps exposure across CI/CD pipelines, containers and Kubernetes, Although not a must-have for the role.</description>
