Overview

Our Client is an established leader in the travel industry. They are looking to recruit a Full Stack Dot Net Software Developer to work on a major transformation programme for this award-winning Luxury Travel Company. Projects include designing and implementing web-based tools to automate operational tasks and improve accuracy of pricing and management information and web site enhancements. The candidate will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of technical solutions for the business. The Client works with third-party suppliers and the candidate will liaise with vendors to help deliver solutions, as required. Depending on expertise, there is an opportunity to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors.Salary range: £50K - £65K. The company is based in London. Design and implementation of web-based tools to automate a variety of business processesImplementation of enhancements to the company website (built on Umbraco)Interfacing with business systems and data warehouse to implement the required functionalityAnalyzing and identifying ways to automate processes working alongside the business leadDesigning and validating the technical suitability of proposed solutions including database design and software approaches proposed by vendorsTaking on complex business change projects that involve multiple stakeholders and suppliersPotential for managing suppliers to ensure delivery of requirements within budget and on timeRisk and issue management to ensure a proactive approachSkills and Experience

Experience in the retail Travel Industry domain is preferredTrack record of delivering projects involving in-house resources and/or third-party suppliersAbility to design and architect technical solutions to complex business problemsFull Stack development experience (ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS, MS SQL Server)CMS experience, e.g. Umbraco (experience with Umbraco would be a plus)Continuous Delivery tools and techniques (e.g. Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker)Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deploying appsExperience in implementing business process automationExperience with multiple REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP)Power BI, PowerQuery, DAX and MStructured testing and QA approaches (e.g. TDD, BDD)Collaborative and cross-departmental teamworkSeniority level
