French Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Secondary School (Maidstone)
About the Role and Key Responsibilities
As a French Teacher working with TailorEDucation, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality Modern Foreign Languages education across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging French lessons that inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding.
You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, support pupils of varying abilities through differentiated teaching, and encourage students to achieve their full potential. Strong classroom management, subject passion, and a commitment to student progress are essential for success in this role.
This position is a long term supply vacancy, where you will be working five days per week on an ongoing basis.

The Ideal Candidate Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching French within a UK secondary school setting (KS3 and KS4)
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
- Confidence in preparing students for GCSE French examinations
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for language learning and supporting student progress and wellbeing
