French Teacher

Are you a passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, with a specialism in French, eager to share your love for language and culture with bright young women? We're looking for a temporary, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding girls' school in Barnet, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a real appreciation for the French language and its rich cultures in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll plan and deliver engaging French lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, tailored for girls.
• The role involves fostering an appreciation for French culture and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the language.
• You'll cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French.
• Native or near-native fluency in French is, of course, essential.
• Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective MFL lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 for girls.
• Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that special ability to inspire a passion for languages.
