About Us Join a collaborative and professional Finance team as a French Speaking Financial Accountant. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional to oversee the administration and accounting of our French entities. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of management accounts, statutory reporting, tax coordination and day-to-day financial operations.The Role As a French Speaking Financial Accountant, you will ensure the smooth running of accounting and administrative activities for the French entities. You will prepare management information, support statutory accounts and tax returns, coordinate accounting duties with the French team and maintain strong financial controls. The role also includes supervising finance colleagues and liaising with banks, accountants, payroll providers and other external partners. Key Responsibilities Supervise members of the Finance team, including the Accounts Payable Clerk and Account Assistant/Management Accountant. Ensure management accounts are prepared on time and that variances are clearly explained. Approve bank transfers and liaise with banks when required. Complete weekly bank reconciliations for all accounts, including ad hoc bank transaction journals. Prepare monthly fund requests and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis.
