French-speaking Financial Accountant

My client, one of the most recognisable media brands in the country, are looking to hire a French-speaking Financial Accountant/Manager to join their stunning offices in Manchester. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders, looking after the French-speaking entity based in Monaco, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS standards.You will play a pivotal part in managing ERP systems, driving process improvements, and delivering technically sound outputs within a strong control framework. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your French language skills with a truly exciting finance role, in a globally renowned media business in the heart of Manchester.What you''ll do:Own the day-to-day operational accounting for the Monaco entity remotely, including journal entries, general ledger activity, month-end close tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of accurate financial outputs.Manage financial accounting within the local Monaco ERP system as well as uploading results into the Global ERP, supporting wider uploads, mapping exercises, and ongoing finance systems consolidation activities.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities, resolve reconciling items efficiently, and ensure strict compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and IFRS reporting requirements.Deliver weekly trading data to shareholders while collaborating closely with teams in Monaco, Group Finance, ..... full job details .....
