French Financial Accountant (PQ/Finalist)

Your new company You will work for an international media advertising and entertainment company, with offices based in the heart of central London.Your new role This is a newly created role in the UK, due to a small geographical restructure. You will report to the Head of International Finance and take ownership of the daily accounting operations for the Monaco entity, as well as supporting the wider international remit.Take ownership of Financial Accounting for the Monaco entity, including journals, GL maintenance and daily transactional oversightUpload of results into Global ERP, ongoing system consolidation, ensuring data integrity between systemsDeliver accurate and technically sound financials and drive financial efficiencyReport on/present weekly international operations trading dataPartnering with the Monaco team, Group and Commercial Finance, plus other stakeholders/cross-functional teams to investigate/resolve queries and streamline processesEnsure that reporting aligns with IFRS standards and internal controls, policies and procedures. Ensure up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations/standardsMake recommendation on any identified insufficienciesPreparation and review of balance sheet reconciliationsProvide support for internal and external auditsAd-hoc projects as requiredOngoing proactive contribution of expertise and insightsWhat you''ll need to succeedRecent, relevant experience working in a similar Financial Accountant roleFluent written and spoken French ..... full job details .....
