Coba Education is currently recruiting a confident and adaptable French and German Teacher for a secondary school role in Kettering, starting after Easter half term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, ECT, or experienced MFL specialist looking for a rewarding fixed-term position in a supportive school environment. You’ll be delivering engaging French and German lessons and making a meaningful impact on students’ language learning and cultural awareness.

The role:

• Teaching French and German across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Assessing and supporting student progress
• Working collaboratively with the MFL department

What we’re looking for:

• Enthusiastic, professional approach to teaching
• Ability to teach both French and German
• Strong classroom management skills
• Two recent, relevant references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full right to work in the UK
• Genuine commitment to student progress and wellbeing

Desirable:

• QTS or ECT status
• Experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school
• Confidence teaching exam classes
• Driving licence and access to a car (beneficial for travel)
