Client Details My client is a SME freight forwarding business, with huge ambitions for growth, in the freight and shipping industry. You will be joining a fast-pace environment assisting in finding logistics solutions for some of the world''s largest industrial, retail and FMCG based customers. My client focuses on searching air freight, sea freight and road freight solutions, which are both cost effective and time sensitive. Job Description As a Freight Forwarding Manager you will report in to the Freight Director on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the following areas for responsibility across the Castle Donington office in Leicestershire: Managing a small team of 8 specialist freight forwarders across road, air and sea freight Overseeing the team responsible for preparing road, air and sea freight pricing and customer quotations - informing about the freight prices, port charges, cost of special documents, insurance prices as well as prices for handling the goods. Organising transport through third party transit means - such as air freight, sea freight and dedicated road freight transport.
