Freight Forwarder - Operations and Development ExecutiveOverviewWe are seeking an experienced and confident Freight Forwarder with a minimum of 4 years'' hands-on industry experience. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge across Sea, Air, and Road freight (Road preferred but not essential), handling both import and export operations. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, a professional phone manner, and confidence in cold calling when required.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end import and export operations across Sea, Air, and Road freight.Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth movement of goods.Prepare and process all documentationProvide accurate quotes and manage shipments from origin to destination.Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining regular communication and updates.Handle client enquiries, negotiate rates, and build strong business relationships.Perform cold calling to engage new customers and support business growth.Resolve shipment issues promptly and professionally.Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance standards are met.RequirementsMinimum 4 years'' Freight Forwarding experience.Experience across Sea and Air freight essential; Road freight beneficial but not required.Strong understanding of the full UK freight forwarding process.Confident communicator with excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with ..... full job details .....
