The role

This Freight forwarding Clerk role is based in Ipswich and supports the daily operations within this freight forwarder. The Operations Clerk will handle import and export shipments from start to finish. The role includes coordinating with origin partners, airlines and shipping lines to ensure timely movement of cargo, resolving basic operational issues, and maintaining accurate system updates for client visibility. The Freight forwarding Clerk will respond to customer inquiries, provide status updates, and support the operations management team. This position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and collaboration to help maintain reliable and efficient service. This Freight forwarding operations Clerk role includes all the normal duties of a freight forwarding clerk.-

Experience / Qualifications
For this position we are looking for a freight forwarder with a clerk or administration background. You will have-experience with import sea FCL/LCL shipments. You will also have-experience with CDS customs entries.-Air freight experience preferred but not essential.
