Freight Forwarding Administrator
Freight Forwarding Administrator-required for a logistics company, this role covers the administation side and is the point of contact between the external sales teams and clients. This role will cover-producing bills of lading-and-Provide bill of lading instructions. They will train you up for a full freight forwarding position, starting with the bills of lading, clearing the team emails, being a contact for clients and the external sales team. Due to growth over the past 6 months, this is a brand new role being created NOT a replacement role. This Bradford based freight forwarder is paying a starting salary of -28k for the Freight Forwarding Administrator, with reviews once you learn new areas.
The role
As a-Freight Forwarding Administrator, you will cover the following duties:
- Monitor and maintain shared inbox-
- Undertake customer bookings and input data into-Cargowise
- Check and send customer documentation-
- Produce bills of lading-
- Provide bill of lading instructions-
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the business-

- Good communication skills (verbal and written)-
- Ability to use Excel, Word and Outlook-
Experience
For this role the client is looking for a candidate from a freight forwarding background or a logistics background. You will have a understanding of the bills of lading and the paperwork required. You will be trained up for a full freight forwarding role
