Can you get an import shipment through customs without breaking into a cold sweat? Then we should probably talk. We’re looking for 2 experienced I mport Operator/Freight Forwarders   to join a busy but bubbly office. You’ll be managing imports from start to finish, keeping customers updated, dealing with shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agents — and ideally knowing your way around customs entries too. What you’ll be doing: Managing import shipments from arrival to final delivery Handling FCL/LCL documentation and keeping paperwork shipshape Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers, overseas agents and customers Completing or coordinating customs clearance and entries Tracking shipments and solving the inevitable “where is my container?” questions Dealing with delays, amendments and the occasional shipping-line curveball Keeping customers informed without needing to be chased every five minutes Invoicing, checking costs and generally making sure the numbers add up What we’re looking f...
