Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client to recruit a full time and permanent Freight Forwarder to join their team Our client is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Freight Forwarder to join their Sea Freight LCL (Less than Container Load) team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in import operations, customer service, and customs processes to become part of a dynamic and growing logistics environment. Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate import LCL consolidations from origin to final deliveryLiaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, and transport providersProvide a high level of customer service, handling enquiries and updates efficientlyPrepare and process customs clearance documentation, including 3rd country shipmentsEnsure all shipments comply with relevant customs regulations and proceduresMonitor shipment progress and resolve any issues proactivelyMaintain accurate records and system updatesRequirements:Previous experience in freight forwarding within sea freight LCL operationsStrong understanding of import procedures and consolidationsKnowledge of customs clearance processes, including 3rd country movementsExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organisational skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in relevant freight forwarding systems is advantageousWhat''s on Offer:Competitive salary circa 35,00 ..... full job details .....
